In keeping with ever-changing trends, Baobab Collection creates two limited edition collections every year to preserve a sense of wonder and surprise. This year, Baobab Collection has launched the Elements Collection, their first edition of outdoor candles. The LuxPad explores this upcoming collection and the inspiration behind the beautiful designs…
For the Elements collection, Baobab Collection called upon the dexterity of Portuguese ceramic experts to create vessels that could withstand outside conditions. Handmade with innovative enamelling and firing techniques that create a unique blend of matte, brilliant, cracked or strayed effects, each vessel is a stunning decorative object for your gardens and terraces. Each candle has also been poured around sturdier wicks to ensure the candle can withstand the summer breezes.
To create the fragrance, Baobab Collection began a thorough search of combinations of notes that would both repel insects and maintain an elegant and sophisticated edge. With a simultaneously floral and insect repelling blend of peppermint, geranium and driftwood, the three candles will magically perfume summer evenings.
Continuously inspired by the world we live in, the Elements Collection features images from the photographic archives of Belgian photographer Benoît Feron of four fascinating landscapes, seemingly abstract at first glance. With evocative names that reference natural elements, Fuego, Agua and Terra form a decorative and elegant trio.
Inspired by the neutral tones of Benoît Feron’s photograph of Natron Lake, Tanzania, the Terra scented candle comes in an entirely unique ceramic hand-strayed vase featuring a blend of grey, taupe and ivory tones.
A pop of luscious colour, the Fuego candle is finished in a ceramic vase that features refined enamel details that range from matte and textured to glossy. Taking inspiration from Feron’s images of Magadi Lake, Kenya, the vessel features a blend of coral, beige and white.
Concluding the Elements collection is the Agua candle. Inspired by the swirling blue tones of Benoît Feron’s photography work of the Fjallsjokull Glacier, Island, this candle features a unique blend of turquoise, beige and white tones.
The new Elements collection will soon be available to browse on the Amara website, in the meantime shop the latest range from Baobab Collection: The Trano Collection.
